Philanthropy Yes! but with social justice

Philanthropy without social justice has no spirit. When the philanthropist is racist, sexist, homophobic, or classist at any level, their helping actions are fake. If the philanthropist is not willing to listen to minorities, support them in public office, accept them in decision-making spaces, or respect their voice on collective issues, then it is all theater.

If you are okay seeing poors in line for aid but oppose them in political positions, you have a problem with coherence.
A real philanthropist does not help to feed their ego, but to create change, helping others grow and recognizing that the people they serve are equal in society. Otherwise, it is nothing more than an act of cleansing sins.
